Our Services
Epidemiology

Epidemiologists are scientists and public health professionals who study patterns and causes of disease in populations. These scientists work to understand the disease at hand, the risks associated with it, the distribution of the disease in and across communities, and groups of people most affected.
PHSCO provides epidemiology services to health departments in Northwest Ohio. Our epidemiologists also assist in developing projects, interpreting community health assessments, and analyzing public health data for multipurpose documents and programs. PHSCO epidemiologists may also act as a liaison between the counties to share ideas and helpful information for future projects.

Emergency Planning
Emergency Planning Management
The Public Health Service Council of Ohio (PHSCO) Emergency Planning Program works with and supports agency emergency infrastructure. This collaboration is based on planning, training, and readiness concepts. The elements combined create a platform, building the agency and staff for flexible, timely, and sustained response actions.
